Talk about taking fashion to new lengths; maxi skirts add effortless sophistication and more importantly ultimate comfort. Maxi skirts can work for all shapes and sizes with the right styling and accessories. Check out Erica and Lisha in their maxed out looks.
Erica is wearing a black maxi skirt by Brandi Melville and top from Urban Outfitters.
Lisha is wearing a skirt from ZARA, shoes from Urban and a bracelet from Fossil.
If maxi skirts aren’t for you, show some ankle with a midi skirt.
Boston weather doesn’t stop us, it only expands our closets. With temperamental weather that never makes up its mind, we work around it with light sweaters and maxi dresses. Take a look at more of our wardrobe.
Erica keeps her look fresh with a striped maxi dress from Nordstrom and Sam Edelman sandals. Photo by Sarah J Black.
Horizontal stripes aren’t your friend? Try any brightly accented maxi dress, like the one by River Island below, to look as good as Erica. Plus, that cool detailed bodice and only $53?? A steal! Pair it with these super stylish sandals by Steve Madden and some stackable bracelets, like the ones below by Love Rocks that are available at Asos, for a completed look.
Taylor goes vintage with her Levis shorts and boyfriend sweater from H&M. She keeps the look simple with a regular black tank top but jazzes it up with her Sam Edelman sandals. The Ray Bans are a must for any cohesive collection. Photo by Sarah J Black.
We love the open knit design in this tank by Selected. Pair it off with oversize cardi and fitted shorts like these leather ones from Pepe Heritage for the cool look Taylor is stylin’ above.
With more to come, here comes the next Tosser Generation! It’s summer, which means bright colors, cool shoes, and an open attitude toward the new trends that are sure to come funneling into our closets. Here’s a closer look at our team and just what fashions they use to make their unique style so very Tosser.
She swore the mattress was already there. Madeline snagged the gorgeous striped dress from her sister, but found her vintage necklace from Shoppe Pioneer over in Providence. The shoes are Jeffrey Campbell and the rings she bought from Etsy. Apparently they come all the way from Tel Aviv. Cool.
Marina cools off in the shade. She smartly wore a cream studded button top and her Dusty Lavender skinny chinos from Forever 21 on this blistering hot day. The matching purple bangle from NYC adds a nice touch and that gorgeous rose gold watch is from Nordstroms.
Because everyone loves a good print, Karen sports a sleeveless blouse with small white print horses to go with her breezy white shorts. She kicks off the outfit with a shiny silver platform wedge, and adds another splash of color with her bright pink toenails.
Lareina rocks the knee high boots from H&M and compromises with the summer heat with her True Religion Daisy Dukes. Her “Mi Casa Es Tu Casa” from ASOS radiates her welcoming attitude and the hat also from H&M, well, the hat is just cool.
Erica takes a break from the Tosser Den. We love the navy shorts that add a bit of class to a modern fashion necessity. The long-sleeve shirt with orange stripes pairs well with the shorts for a conservative look, but the studded shoes finish the outfit with just the right kind of punk.
